Harborview Park, Bar Harbor, Maine; December 2, 2011 (Beachcombing series No.57)

Harborview Park is near the Town Pier. It's a little tricky to get down to the shore, and you have to watch the tides carefully to make sure you can get back, but not many people bother, so there's a lot to see.

Driftwood, blue marble, sea-worn china, sea glass, lobster-claw bands, some Northern Rock Barnacles (Balanus balanoides), and a bit of rusted metal that might have been a nail once.
